OKUMA HIGH PERFORMANCE REELS
After serious evaluation of conventional reel options, Predator will carry the Okuma high end reels known as the High Performance Series. Although new on the scene, they have been evaluated and discussed on fishing forums, including 360Tuna.com.
At the top, the Makaira line of big game lever drag 2 speed reels span from the 10 II to the 80 II. As Predator specializes in jigging and popping, the 10 II, 15 II will likely be our largest sellers. The 20 II will be an option for large Bluefin Tuna where additional line is required.
With a 2.1:1 and 4.7:1 ratio, the 10 II and 15II are very well suited answer to handle large and tough fish, whether suspended or on the bottom. The 20 II has ratios of 1.7:1 and 3.9:1.

The Cedros lever drag is made with the same quality construction and materials of the Makaira, but is the single speed version. It is a very good option for jigging where a 2 speed is not desired or required since it is available with your choice of ratios, 6.2:1 and 4.1:1. This could cover a wide range of needs such as outfitting a 250 class stick with a Cedros 6.1:1; a 350, with a Cedros 4.1:1 or Makaira 10; and a 450 or better, with a Makaira for the heavier (and/or deeper) quarries.
The Cedros Star Drag has the same quality construction as the lever drag but at a lower price for those not wanting a lever action.
The Cavalla lever drag series offers an economic range of star drag trolling reels from size 15 to 50W.
